I am the founder of Active India Tours and the primary contact for our travelers. We are one of India’s fast-growing and dedicated brands for active, experiential holidays and destination services.

My life-long career of over 30 years in tourism has been a journey of great learning driven by a deep passion for the outdoors. Starting in 1990 as a trekking and tour guide, the journey has taken me to the farthest corners of this incredible Indian subcontinent and develops a deep appreciation and a strong bond with its long and living history, natural abundance, unique and unmatched cultural diversity. Along the way, guiding and helping thousands of fellow travellers, friends and explorers from around the world gave me the most valuable insights into the quality and complexities of holiday planning, value of delivering a truly authentic experience and the importance of responsible and sustainable tourism.

It is with this life-long passion and decades of learning and expertise that I founded Active India in 2011 as dedicated independent brand for active, experiential and tailor-made holidays focused on personalization, authenticity of experience and an enriching engagement with the cultural charms, natural splendor and unparalleled diversity that defines India.
